The Operating Methodology for Marketing-Led Growth
HELPING FOUNDERS & CEOS BUILD MARKETING FUNCTIONS THAT WORK WITHOUT THEM
WHY FRAMEWORK TWELVE EXISTS
Most CEOs never expect marketing to become one of the hardest parts of running their business.
As businesses grow, responsibility for marketing often stays with the CEO far longer than it should. Budgets, agencies, campaigns and investment decisions gradually find their way back onto their desk. Marketing becomes one of the biggest sources of uncertainty and frustration in an already demanding role.
We call that becoming the Accidental CMO.
Framework Twelve was developed to help businesses move beyond that point. It provides leadership teams with a practical methodology to identify what's limiting marketing performance, prioritise where to focus next, and build the capability needed for marketing to consistently drive growth.
HOW IT WORKS
Marketing for an SME is uniquely difficult to lead.
There are endless options and countless ways to spend time and money. It's easy to place the wrong bets.
At the same time, marketing often lags behind the rest of the business operationally. While finance, sales and operations rely on established systems and processes, marketing frequently remains reactive with continued dependence on the CEO.
The result is all too familiar. Either they’re making the wrong decisions about where and how marketing should create growth, or they struggle to execute consistently once those decisions have been made.
Framework Twelve exists to solve both problems.
Grounded in established marketing science and two decades of operational experience, the methodology brings together twelve connected components that determine how to set the right path and build the right engine.
